Ship Promoted To Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance of Rapport Leadership International

Jay Ship has been promoted to chief financial officer and vice president of finance for Rapport Leadership International, where he manages all accounting and finance activities for the company. Additionally, he is responsible for Rapport’s internal employee development program and the company’s recharge program for graduates.
Before joining Rapport Leadership International, Ship began his professional career with National Response Corporation (NRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings, Inc. After five years with the company, Ship accepted his first executive position as controller of Globe Wireless. In 2002, he went on to serve as chief financial officer for a privately-held environmental firm on Long Island and then relocated to Las Vegas in the summer of 2005 to serve as a senior business analyst for the multi-billion dollar company, Rinker Materials, later called CEMEX, USA.
Ship attended Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, where he completed studies in Accounting and Taxation while on a baseball scholarship. A born leader, in 1994 Ship was named the first captain of the school’s Division I baseball team since 1970.
Ship continues to be a sports enthusiast and team captain as he leads the Rapport Leadership International employee basketball team, the Rapport Runnin’ Rebels, as part of the City of Henderson Adult Basketball League. Ship is married to his wife, Lynette, and they have two beautiful children, Olivia and Joey.
