What to Expect
Rapport Training
Rapport Leadership International offers a series of challenges and processes in its training that is designed to allow you to live and practice leadership skills and behaviors instead of just talking about them. Some of the competencies you will learn are teamwork, support, enthusiasm, passion, focus, taking action, creativity and accountability.
Rapport courses have been described as “tough.” They are tough because when we are working on leaderships skills, these are personal skills which means what we are really working on is the person in relation to what’s needed to be more effective.
Pre-Enrollment
Before enrolling in a Rapport course you will work with a Leadership Training Advisor (LTA) who is a tremendous resource available to you and is passionate about your success. Your LTA will coach you every step of the way, including after your training, explain the benefits you will receive from your course and answer any questions you have.
Enrolling in a Course
Once you decide to take your leadership skills to the next level, a Course Coordinator ensures your paperwork and enrollment are complete. They will provide arrival time for your course and other details.
Arriving for Your Training
Most courses are taught at Rapport’s Executive Retreat in Alamo, Nevada*. For your convenience, courses are also offered at various locations across the U.S. and Canada. For courses at the Executive Retreat, you will arrive at Rapport’s corporate office in Las Vegas where you will check in and get an opportunity to meet your LTA and trainer. (You are responsible for transportation from the airport to Rapport’s office.) Later you will board the Rapport Motor Coach and travel to the Retreat, 90 miles north of Las Vegas.
All meals, snacks, and lodging are provided at the Retreat as part of your two-and-a-half day training experience. Upon arrival you will be assigned to a room; your first meal will be served at approximately 6PM prior to the start of the training.
Course Duration
The approximate duration of each day's training is:
Day One - 5 hours
Day Two - 15 hours
Day Three - 6 hours
Periodic breaks, meals and snacks are offered throughout each day. The last day of your training will be celebrated with a graduation upon your successful completion of the course.
Post Graduation
After your graduation you will board the Rapport Coach which will make its first stop at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport before returning to Rapport’s corporate office.
After your training, your LTA will follow-up with you to discuss your training experience; they will continue to be your resource long after graduation. Once you have completed a course, you are qualified to go On-Team and assist Rapport trainers while reinforcing the competencies you have learned.
*Power Communication courses in Las Vegas are held at Rapport’s Corporate Office and exclude lodging and meals.
